Research: I will be exploring how honeybee brains light up under stress - literally! In Prof Ysabel Giraldo's lab, using in vivo calcium imaging and behavioral experiments, I will study how two distinct bee genotypes sense, process, and communicate stress signals. I'm especially fascinated by how a single stressed bee can influence her entire colony. It's like decoding a buzzing, chemical-based group chat - and I'm here for it!
