Research: Hi! I’m Jina, a first year PhD student at CIBER. I’m interested in the mechanisms of resistance in California honey bees against Varroa destructor. I have a background in apiary inspection in Alaska, so I’m acutely aware of the impact varroa has on beekeepers.
